We hope that most people reading this site will appreciate the nature of independent travel: things change.

For those who don't, be aware that this information could be wrong tomorrow. When things change, it can be quick. Don't blame us for it! This site aims to have the best information, but if it says things which turn out to be incorrect, that's just tough. Sorry, but there you are.

It could be that a hotel will go down hill, a bus will stop running, a border post will become a pain, or that a war will start. That's all part of travel. There are certain risks associated with independent travel, and one should embrace that risk before setting out.

Remember that a lot of the information on this sites is sent in, unverified, by other travellers, and it may prove to be untrue, out-of-date or mere opinion.
