When I started eTravel.org I had no idea that it would become such a popular place, or such an extensive site.

Things have come a long way since then. We now have a small staff - each of them an avid travel fan - to bring you up-to-date and interesting news, information and advice.

Remember that you'll see nothing for the package traveller here! This site is for those who expect more from travel than a swimming pool, a comfy hotel and a pink gin. Not for us the security of the return ticket! Forget the travel agent! No way to the pre-booked hotel! Here, you'll only find stuff for those people who prefer to make their own decisions about their holidays.

One last thing - many thanks to all the people who have sent in their advice, tips hints, and so on. We appreciate all your comments. Keep them coming!
